AA 3rd Step Prayer - Keepsake God Box
A red alder box with the words of the 3rd Step Prayer found in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous laser engraved into the outer-upper lid of the box. This type of box is often referred to as a "God Box." The "God Box" is derived from the principle associated with the 3rd Step, Faith. The premise is that the simple act of writing down a wish and relinquishing control to a higher power is a method of relieving one's mind of the "bondage of self." The result of this relief would then make one more available to help others.
